What is Snus?

Snus is a smokeless tobacco product that originated in Sweden and has gained popularity in various parts of the world. Unlike traditional chewing tobacco or dip, snus is a moist, powdered tobacco product typically placed under the upper lip.

In contrast to other forms of tobacco, snus is pasteurized during manufacturing, which reduces the presence of certain harmful bacteria and potential carcinogens. This process contributes to the perceived lower health risks associated with snus compared to smoking cigarettes or using other forms of tobacco.

How to Use Snus ??

Using snus is straightforward, and here are step-by-step instructions on how to use it properly:

  1. Prepare the Pouch: Start by washing your hands to ensure cleanliness. Take a snus pouch from the container; it will be small and teabag-like.
  2. Find a Comfortable Position: Position the snus pouch with your fingertips. The pouch should be comfortably positioned under your upper lip, either to the right or left of your front teeth.
  3. Place the Pouch Under Your Lip: Gently lift your lip and place the snus pouch directly under it. You can adjust the placement based on your preference for comfort.
  4. Leave It In Place: Once the snus pouch is under your lip, leave it there. The moisture from your mouth will activate the pouch, releasing flavor and nicotine gradually.
  5. Enjoy Gradually: As you go about your day, you’ll experience the effects of the snus pouch. You may notice a slight tingling sensation as nicotine is absorbed through the gums.
  6. Dispose Properly: After about 30 minutes to an hour, remove the used snus pouch and dispose of it responsibly. Avoid swallowing the pouch.
  7. Avoid Overuse: It’s essential to moderate your use of snus. Too much snus can lead to unwanted side effects or nicotine overdose.
